Our most recent play ‘You Won’t Help Me’ was a five star, critically acclaimed play, which raised awareness for domestic violence, and we were commended for our work with Women’s Aid and Mankind Initiative.
Our next play is another beautiful story, this time highlighting mental health, and how mental illness is not just as simple as ‘cheering yourself up’.
Created by Drayk Wayer , and Phoenix Benham, ‘Dysmorphia’ is a play which highlights the very real difficulties of living with mental illness. We follow Luna and Theo who are very good friends, but have their own inner demons, and the effects this has on Siobhan (Theo’s Fiance and Luna’s best friend), and Charles (Theo’s Brother and Luna’s friend). This play is a love story like you’ve never seen it, and shows that learning to love and accept yourself, will be the most meaningful relationship you ever have.
We are SO excited to be bringing this to London stages next year, with a sensational cast, some of which you will recognise if you came to see our 5 star, critically acclaimed show ‘You Won’t Help Me’.
We are currently asking all of our supporters for donations to help us make ‘Dysmorphia’ even bigger and better than ‘You Won’t Help Me’, and allow us to house this amazing play in a bigger theatre, with better facilities.
Anything you can give will help us share this important story, far and wide, for such an essential cause.

We are absolutely thrilled that Drayk has come on board to collaborate with Phoenix on ‘Dysmorphia’, as it really has been a magical meeting of creative minds.
Drayk was recently in Tatts ‘n’ Talents five star, critically acclaimed play ‘You Won’t Help Me’ at The Network Theatre (August/Sept 2024), garnering many incredible reviews for his portrayal of the character ‘Mikey’, whom he brought to life in fantastically funny, and heartwarming fashion, sharing a wide range of different emotions and mindsets.
It is an absolute pleasure working with Drayk, and we cannot wait to see where ‘Dysmorphia’ ends up.

Phoenix is hugely passionate about making a difference, and raising awareness for essential and important causes, through the medium of theatre, as well as giving those within the industry who are often overlooked due to their race, disability, sexuality, minority, etc, a chance to perform and show off their true talent and potential.
Over the last 30 years, Phoenix has been in everything from feature films, west end shows, theatre, tv series, adverts, music videos, and just about everything in between, and she has now come back to her home, the theatre.
Theo is a soldier who returns from war, worlds away from the man who was deployed.
The things he has seen and done have taken a toll on his mental health, and he is working through figuring out who he is now.
Luna is Siobhan and Theo’s best friend. She is kind hearted, and just wants the people around her to be happy, but she has her own mental health demons, and the story follows how she copes with every day life, while trying to be a supportive friend.
Charles is Theo’s brother. He is a high end lawyer, and is very direct and to the point. He tries his best to support his brother, until something happens which will change all of their lives forever.
I.V is Luna’s inner voice, he is quick witted, funny, sarcastic, rude, and can be extremely nasty and derogatory at times, towards Luna.
Will he finally be silenced, or he win the battle of minds with Luna?
Siobhan is the fiancé of Theo. Will she be able to get over the fact that her fiancé has returned from the war with PTSD, or will their relationship break apart?
